gift boxes

We're sending out loads and loads of gift boxes at the moment, they seem to be flying out and make brilliant gifts. Great that we were in the Mail on Saturday.

Boo Boo Mummy is going down a storm! Our gift boxes are doing really well, so all the blood, sweat and tears was worth it - now it's just a case of keeping stocked up with bubble wrap and having enough hours in the day to send them all out. Onwards and upwards!

Boo Boo Mummy is nearly here!

There was much excitement at Boo Boo Towers yesterday! Corinna and I went down to Leicester to see our Boo Boo Mummy labels being printed. We were really nervous!! Would our new colours look as good as we hoped? Had we made any spelling mistakes?! (our worst nightmare - despite reading the words over and over again, as ex-magazine editors we know it can happen. I once nearly got the sack when I edited Sugar Magazine and the name of an actress was spelt wrongly on the cover!!)

The funniest moment was when we had to don white coats and funny white hats to go on to the printing floor - we got the giggles (especially when Corinna tried to get the hat over her big hair!) and just couldn't stop - the print manager looked at us like we were a pair of silly schoolgirls (not far wrong except we're the wrong side of 30!)

As it happened, the labels looked better than we could have imagined - we made a couple of colours stronger here and there (I don't think the printers had ever met such a pair of fuss pots!) and then we were happy. We celebrated with a tipple or two when we got home - such a relief!! Can't wait to see what you all think - watch this space - not long now!!

Welcome to our first posting

Jennifer here (one half of the two Boo Boos!) Welcome to Boo Boo's first blog! Not being very technologically-minded (is that a word?) Corinna and I have been talking about writing a Boo Boo blog for sometime now - not realising how easy it is to do. I'm hoping that now we've started there'll be no stopping us and inbetweeen running Boo Boo we'll get to keep you all posted on all our very exciting plans!
So, as well as running our Boo Boo Baby range, the one project that rules our every waking hour (actually, sleeping too seeing as I'm constantly dreaming about lotions and potions these days) is Boo Boo Mummy. Ever since last year when we launched Baby - customers and retailers have been asking us to launch a Mummy and Mum-to-be range. After months and months of work we're almost there!
